OCEAN PHOENIX 120
Ocean Coastal Debris and Jellyfish Recovery Ship
The ship's size is reduced to 120 meters when the objective is to treat both coastal plastic waste and jellyfish. The patent equally encompasses this application of the ship.
Overall, the technical methods of OCEAN PHOENIX 120 are comparable to those
of OCEAN PHOENIX 360.
The primary differences consist of the reduced size and cost of the ship, the focus of
its operations on one or several local zones, and the means through which it will be financed. This financing will be obtained from the regions the ship is to be attached to.
It is theorized that the recent warming of the world's oceans is a contributing factor in the proliferation of jellyfish, already encroaching upon every continental coast.
It is entirely possible that this secondary application of the Ocean Phoenix
will become the most suitable means of combating this highly invasive phenomenon.
In any case, this function is quite separate from the project's primary objective.
It will only be explored once the plastic waste recovery program has launched.
